2026-01-03Zero heating in rooms. Room temperature last week (31 Dec'25) in PREMIUM Room was 17-18°C, which is below the definition of 20°C room temperature. They argued on having no more room heaters available due to the 40 they have all being already distributed. Well, yes, when your rooms are below average temperature guests would want heaters! Get/buy more and stock up! Finally after arguing for a while at 11PM on the 31st December 2025 night they gave us one heater. Also none of the sockets in this Premium room were properly functioning. The bathroom sink clogged. The bathtub shower pressure is random. Loud noise of drums thumping all through evening from the rooftop restaurant musical evening on Thursday (1 January'26). Front desk management is extremely inefficient and borderline annoying as I had to repetedly tell my advance booking extra payment adjustments already done to their 31 December program which was cancelled. Every front desk person made me call the sales person who handled our reservation even though she had left clear instructions for the front desk. I had to explain matters every time anew to every person and make calls to the reservation person. I find it amusing how all over Bangladesh hotels are putting self proclaimed stars. If you are 3 or 5 stars your services should be like 3-5 stars! Having a swimming pool qualifies you for nothing extra! Regarding Dhaka Regency Hotels and Resort, it was my second stay with them in 4 months, and service just seemed to have gotten worse! Their STANDARD room is basically a box without any windows. A "room without a view" and a "room without a window" are TWO DIFFERENT THINGS! What they said before my reservation was that the Standard room was without a view, no mention of the windowlessness. Finally I upgraded to a PREMIUM room with WONDOWs with extra payment after arrival. And as I mentioned above the room was below room temperature all through our two night stay, without the heating. Just because Dhaka rarely faces cold weather, it doesn't mean a self proclaimed 3+ star hotel would have zero central heating/heat pump facilities. And then give lame excuses on not having enough room heaters. The only good thing about this hotel.is probably the food during the dinner buffet, wide choices and good quality, but over expensive and as usual Dhaka nonsense of specific bank cards for the offers.

2025-10-20A business-class hotel close to the airport! The hotel offers nice Guest Rooms and Suites, Thai Spa, Health Club, Bar, Swimming pool and buffet breakfast. I never missed their breakfast. Overall I like their service.
