2021-07-15A good english medium school in Dhaka city. However, this school is not for all classes of citizens. The cost of education is certainly much higher. A good school should have a playground for the students but there is no playground. They should emphasis more on practical & cultural education. There is a waiting area for the parents but there is not enough parking facility.

2025-07-26The Dhanmondi branch of this school, particularly the preschool/nursery section, is deeply concerning in its approach to early childhood education. Teachers appear to lack proper training and the ability to handle energetic, playful, or expressive children — traits that are completely normal at this age. Instead of creating a nurturing environment, the staff impose rigid, unrealistic expectations, such as requiring 4-year-olds to sit still for hours, and treat normal childhood behavior as disciplinary issues. Rather than supporting or guiding young learners, they resort to constant complaints, shaming tactics, and even isolating children who do not conform to their strict standards. There is no real effort to provide individual attention or care, and the overall atmosphere is cold, robotic, and emotionally damaging. This is not how early education should function, and I strongly urge parents to reconsider before enrolling their children here.

2024-08-13Oxford International School is one of the best English medium school in Dhaka with a great reputation. The teachers at this school are exceptional—friendly, highly qualified, and professional. They are genuinely committed to helping students succeed. However, the school does have a few drawbacks, such as the absence of a playground and limited parking space. Despite these shortcomings, the school excels in many other areas, including its active engagement in extracurricular activities. Although the costs are slightly higher than those of other schools, overall, I would rate the school 8.5/10.
