25 Oct, 2025Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College & Hospital is one if the biggest and most important govt. general Hospital in the capital, Dhaka. It is very important for all kinds of patients. People come here to treat themselves in different diseases. The Hospital proves diagnosis facilities in most of the acute & severe diseases. It provides some free medicines in general cases. There are indoor, outdoor & emergency facilities here. They provide very good services. Almost every doctors and stuffs are well mannered here. As it is a government hospital, it costs almost free. But the problem is getting appointment. Lots of patient gather here every day. They have enough number of doctors, nurses and other stuffs. There are two hostel for medical students behind the hospital building and two for dental students. The full hospital campus is well decorated.

Anyone can easily enter and take service 24 hours on emergency basis as well as daily visit allows except holiday on schedule basis. Its situated a beautiful location near high way and surrounded with different tress, You can have a friendly talk with the doctors. The behavior of the nurses was also good. But the condition of toilet and bathroom in this hospital is very dirty. Patients also have to use this toilet. So toilets, bathrooms should be kept clean.

08 Oct, 2025Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College and Hospital is located in Sher-E-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka. Locally known the area is as College Gate. It is a government medical hospital. Treatment cost is very low here. But, you have to wait a lot for outdoors services. Doctors are highly qualified. But, the number of patients is very high.

20 May, 2025Dental unit for children is separate. And the waiting time is not that much if you go early in the morning. And the doctor was very Friendly and helpful🖤 And also there is a small park. Good place for a little walk or rest.

Well arranged and their medical departments as well as pathology, radiology and causality service to accommodate all types of patients are also good enough. It is situated in the north-western part of Dhaka beside the National Parliament House, having a unique architectural building. Doctors, nurses and stuffs are well mannered here. It is a government hospital with a minimal costs . Lots of patient gather here everyday, that's why it is tuff to getting appointment with a long waiting . It is also a COVID-19 vaccination hub in dhaka.
