University of Asia Pacific (UAP) was established in 1996 with a vision to enhance the opportunity for higher education in Bangladesh. The University, under the Private University Act 1992, started its operation in 1996 by offering four-year Bachelor Degree Program in Computer Science & Technology and Business Administration only. Now the UAP offers undergraduate program in four disciplines. Its curricula have been approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Government of People’s Republic of Bangladesh.

The atmosphere of the campus is very good. What can i say, it was a wonderful 1 year journey of LLM over there. From the classroom to canteen the University maintained hygiene and cleanliness. Each faculty was best at their knowledge. Highly recommended for university studies.

Its curriculum has been approved by The University Grants Commission of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. The university started its operation in the first semester of classes in 1996 and offered four-year bachelor's degree programs in Computer Science and Technology and Business Administration only. UAP has been sponsored by the University of Asia Pacific Foundation, a non-profit, non-commercial organization based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. CM Shafi Sami is the chairperson of the Board of Governors of the University of Asia Pacific Foundation. Now UAP offers undergraduate programs in English, Law, Architecture, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Pharmacy.
